PAPER & PRINTING
 
I work with a carefully selected, fully end-to-end carbon neutral printing partner, so all prints and framed artworks (and their delivery) are certified carbon neutral. 
I’ve carefully selected my printing partner to ensure print quality is perfect, whilst doing our bit to look after the planet. 
Each giclée print is beautifully presented on acid-free, premium pure white, cotton Baryta Photographique Giclée paper, by Canson one of the world’s preeminent fine art paper mills, with excellent black density, contrast and reproduction of detail. 
310gsm Canson Baryta paper is perfect for my bird mugshots presenting deeper blacks and vivid colours whilst the silky smooth reflective coating enhances the detail and definition of the images. 
I recommend care when handling the print as is a sensitive paper. Try to avoid touching the prints or putting any creases. 
Papers and wood-based materials are sourced from Forestry Stewardship Council certified sustainable sources. Packaging materials have been carefully selected to reduce the impact on the environment whilst still ensuring your artwork gets to you in perfect condition. Plastics are kept to a minimum and all packaging materials are sustainably sourced, being a mixture of recycled, recyclable or biodegradable materials.

The best bit is that printing and delivery is end-to-end carbon neutral.
The Giclée paper I have selected is manufactured only use resources from sustainable forest management areas. This programme ensures the preservation and protection of biodiversity, the renewal of the forests habitats and decreasing of the impacts of exploitation of forest areas for future generations. The paper made at their mills is certified for the traceability of the wood fibres from an origin of non-threatened forests. 
My bird prints are end-to-end carbon neutral. This means where we can efforts are made to minimise energy usage and use suppliers of renewable energy. Where unavoidable, we offset all of our carbon emissions.
Offsetting alone will not tackle climate change, however it is an immediate and measurable method to take responsibility for our carbon footprint. After extensive research we found that investing in renewable energy was the most effective way to offset, as it provides infinite energy supply with instant effect.

I'm based in the West Midlands after growing up in Bristol. My Mum loved birds, this has been passed onto me. I'm addicted to creating. I don't watch the TV. I would much rather spend time in my studio. The bug has been passed onto my twin children. They are just as creative (and messy) as me.
These illustrations have taken a two years to produce. I'm very proud of them and I hope you like them.
