About Luke Western
West Midlands based Artist, Luke Western has been honing his skills in sculpture and illustration for over 20 years. Luke grew in Bristol and became part of the Bristol art scene in the early 2000’s and was featured in a number of newspapers, radio and TV.
Luke has developed his techniques in a number of different mediums and is known for his acrylic paintings, illustrations, and wire sculpture.
Luke creates every day in his home based studio and would much rather be found covered in paint, than sat on the sofa watching TV.

Music plays a big part in Luke's creative process and he'll listen to anything from The Rat Pack, to Bring Me The Horizon, Fred Again, Steve Harley, Facesoul and Lorde whilst working on his pieces.
Luke loves to create visually appealing pieces, built up with layers of intricate details.
