A very quick note from Luke Western, the creator of geobirds, explaining why this offer exists.

Hi, I’m Luke.

I’ve put this together so you can get one of my bird prints for £4, which simply covers the cost of posting it to you.

​

It’s something I do now and again to share my work and give more people the chance to live with it.

​

The project is called geobirds, a growing collection of birds I’ve illustrated in a clean, geometric style. Over the years, it’s grown to over 100 species and the prints have ended up in homes all across the UK.

​

The love of birds has always been at the heart of my work, and I believe art should be something that people can actually own, not just scroll past.

​

Right now, you can pick one of the A5 prints below for just £4. If you’d prefer a larger A4 version, you’ll have that option when you order.

It’s been more than two years since I last did this. I have worked closely with my printers to provide a limited batch of prints, and once they’re gone, this page will come down.

 

So if a bird catches your eye, don’t leave it too long.

A couple of things to know:

​

• I post once a week, usually on Wednesdays

• I use Royal Mail First Class to make sure it gets to you safely (I had too many 'lost items' in second class)

• The £4 covers the stamp, packaging and other fees I can't avoid

So, why do I do this?

Well for a couple of reasons:

​

1. I think art should be available to everyone, and this is my way of giving more people access

2. I'd like to start more conversations about birds. most species are struggling, so by getting more people talking, it might spark more action around the country

3. maybe 1/100 will appreciate the print enough, to return and start collecting my illustrations. Of course there's no pressure to do so, but I appreciate anyone that does.
